Tires for 19x11 CCW T10s on C6 Base
305s fit nicely under the lip, but I want to stuff as much as I can under the well...or close to under the well. Willing to cut out the inner fender well near the lip if needed. Offset is +79.
Any pick of 315s or 325s on a C6 Base?
Thank You

T10 lug nuts
Thought the CCW website said old school 12mm x 1.5 lugs with washers but these wheels have taper seats. Can someone confirm standard vette lugs are the correct nuts.
Thanks

Be careful with the offset on 11s. Most aftermarket wheels have a smaller offset than the OEM 79mm so it pushes the rim out. The same rim width on an aftermarket wheel with a 68mm offset rather than 79mm will push the same tire out 1/4" just because of the smaller offset. An 11 @ 68mm offset pushes that same tire out 3/4"". So taking that same tire that fits within the wheel well on the OEM rim, will stick it out 1/2" when mounted to a wider 11 @ 68mm. A 325 @ 68mm will stick out 1.5" from stock. High offset wheels need to be stronger because of the cantilevered load on the barrel and cast aluminum won't do it, only forged or steel, and only money fixes that problem.
I got my CCWs only because they were one of the few that had a 79mm offset 11 maintaining the OEM centerline. The Nitto 305 N505R sidewall stick "out" and "in" 1/2" from the 285s bit the tread width is within the wheel well. 315s would be close to rubbing, 325s would definatley rub. There is still clearance on the "inside", between the wheel and frame and I'd love to push the tires in more, but that would take a 92mm offset and a $3500 custom.
End result is narrow bodys are pretty limited and you can't stuff 10lbs of shlt in a 5lb bag and the most important thing is to keep the 79mm offset or bigger. Even so, 315s are the max unless you want them hanging out.
