Default Strange wear on A7 after 2 events... what would be the cause?

This is a fairly new setup of A7 hear cycled from Tirerack.

I've done about 20 runs on a concrete runway.

After 6 runs I rotated front to back, then ran 6 runs.

The next event I ran 8 runs. While going over the car yesterday I noticed the inside of the both front tires Re splitting in the same manner.

What would cause this?

Looks like contact with something sharp in the wheel wells.

That's the first thing I check. Nothing I could see. Also the rears have been ran on the front before this event and thy don't have this split.

When you turn full lock and then compress the suspension you will make contact with the fasteners and or plastic wheel well pieces. This is how you find out about these, the hard way! I have seen similar on both ends on my cars over the years.
