C6 ZR1 19" Aftermarket Wheel/Tire OD
Hello everyone!
I posted this in the ZR1 section but I'm hoping to get more views here.
I wanted to see what people are running on their ZR1's when it comes to aftermarket 19" wheels and tire sizes. Specifically, I'm looking for correct info regarding OD front to rear and whats acceptable on this platform. For example, with an AWD platform such as the GTR it's considered acceptable to stay within 1% OD front to rear. That is to insure no error codes and to keep the trans and diffs happy.
More specifically, I'm asking for guidance on running a 19x10 and 19x12.5 setup (12.5 because thats the largest recommended width by Nitto for the NT05r although a 13inch wide wheel may work). In a post I recently bumped, another gentlemen was running a set of Forgestar wheels in a 19x10/19x12. He's also running a set of Nitto tires in a 275/30/19 and a 345/30/19. After looking at Nittos website and seeing the OD of both of those tires (the fronts are NT05 and the rears NT05rs) are a difference of 1.85 inches. That seems like a fairly large difference.
Nitto does makes the NT05 in a 275/35/19 which brings the OD to .71 inches.
I'm not certain if OD matters as much as RWD cars and if it does withing what tolerances.
Any input/feedback would be greatly appreciated.

FYI I have a 2012 C6Z06, I'm talking with Terry Fair @ Vorshlag Motorsports about running a square setup for track use: 19x12 rims using 325-30-19 tires. LOTS of tire choices @ 325-30-19 running square able to rotate tires front to back. My front passenger tire wearing up faster than others
