it may not be a hot rod movie, the best chase scene was
"Bullitt" with Steve McQueen. I was 16 when that movie
came out and I think I saw it 6 times at the theater.
To my surprise I see that it's out on DVD. There is something
to be said for a chase between a Hemi Charger and a HiPro
67 Mustang. If you haven't seen, check it out."

when I was a kid, I thought that car was awesome and wanted
to rebuild a Vette too. Funny, I saw a pic of that same
car on the Mid America catalog just last week."

movie is being remade now to come out next year. It is
being produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the guy behind the
Rock, Con Air, Armageddon, and that old one Days of Thunder.
Starring Nic Cage. Confirmed cars for the movie include
a DeTomaso Pantera and a Ferrari 550, and I think some
old mustang(Shelby maybee). There are supposed to be about
50 cars total. Its coming out next year. I know I'll be
in line."
