null zps102ecfa0 Brand new engine. The PO didn't follow correct procedure and wiped the cam. He installed a new one and replaced the lifters but never started the engine. Good thing he didn't cause he never disassembled it to check for any damage caused by the cam failure. In the end I took it apart replaced all the bearings and seals , rings and had the crank checked and the blocked cleaned out. especially all the oil galleys which were full of shiny silver residue from cam failure. Had he started the motor he would have completely distroyed it. Which would have been a shame since it was built with quality parts in the first place. Dart heads, Eagle crank and rods, Hyper pistons, Roller tipped rockers and so on.
