1. 2012 Centennial Edition

If this 2012 C06 Centennial Edition doesn't make you want to slap your mamma, well, you're just not American. This special edition celebrating 100 years of the Chevy nameplate was one mean machine that would set you back a little over $100,000.

2. 2009 ZHZ

Your eyes just follow the sleek lines from front to tail, don't they? This is one beautiful ride and oddly enough, the special edition ZHZ was made exclusively for Hertz Rental Cars. Crazy isn't it? Better save up for this upgrade on your next rental. The good news is that because they were used for rentals, you can grab a used one for a great price if you are patient and shop around.

3. 2013 C6 Grand Sport

The 2013 C6 GS special edition is a pretty fast car. If you really need to get from 0-60 in four seconds, this one is your car. It boasts a 190 mph top speed and about 430 horsepower. Put the top down and this not only puts the wind in your hair, it literally will rip it right out of the follicles.

4. 2016 Stingray Z51

The special edition Z51 performance package on the 2016 Stingray leaves little else to be desired. The package includes an electronic limited slip differential and additional cooling features for the differential, gearbox and brakes. Special tires and wheels were exclusive for this edition as well. All this for just under $65,000 and you'll be the talk of your neighborhood.

5. 2009 GT1

The 2009 GT1 is a limited edition anniversary model that was created in response to Corvette's strong showing in the American LeMan's Racing circuit. This wicked fast road warrior could hit 60 in 3.7 seconds.

6. 2011 Carbon Z06

If you are a weekend warrior at the track, then the special Carbon Edition of the 2011 Z06 is the beast you have been looking for. This is a specially designed and weighted Corvette specifically for the track. Its 505 horsepower V8 engine may not have been the fastest in the lineup, but its weight and engineering for the track allowed it to move around the track more efficiently, shaving seconds off the even the best times posted.

7. 2016 Z06

If speed is your drug, you are about to overdose. The 2016 special edition Z06 is blazing fast. While it can hit 0-60 in under 3 seconds, the 650 hp power plant will make you simply wet your pants. The sports car enthusiast's collection cannot possibly be complete without this beauty in their garage.
