The No.3 Compuware C6.R Wins at ALMS Lagnua Seca
SALINAS, Calif. – (May 11, 2013) – A well-executed team effort helped Corvette Racing return to victory lane at the 2.238-mile, 11-turn Laguna Seca road course for the second consecutive year. Jan Magnussen and Antonio Garcia, drivers of the No. 3 Compuware Corvette C6.R, scored their first American Le Mans Series (ALMS) GT Class win
Dana Mecum’s name is being changed to “Indiana Mecum” because like “Indiana Jones” he has a way of finding treasures, Corvette treasures, and offering them for sale at his vaunted Indianapolis Spring Auction, May 14th through May 19th. This year “Indiana Mecum” will auction over 2,000 collector cars and motorcycles during his six day extravaganza.

He saw a need for quality, reliable, go-fast parts and performance cars. John rose to the challenge and created a company that would one day achieve legendary status.

Vettes for Vets is an annual, all-Corvette car show organized to honor the hard work and dedication military veterans have committed to our country. On Sunday, May 26, the general public can enjoy a free Corvette car show in the parking lot behind the museum and free museum admission for all veterans. All visitors will enjoy our new exhibit Elegance in Motion: Cars of the Golden Age, which opens May 25.
Vettes for Vets will be a great day of sunshine and memorial for our veterans who will enjoy raffle prizes, food trucks coordinated by Sacto MoFo, and awesome tunes.
