[PICS] 2013 Corvettes at Carlisle: 1965 Corvette Restomod

This beautiful 1965 Corvette Sting Ray Coupe was parked in the fun field at the 2013 Corvettes at Carlisle and when we first saw the restored we literally stopped dead in our tracks and started shooting away with our camera.

The ’65 custom coupe is owned by Ronald Champe who claimed a club affiliation with the 63-67 Corvette Registry.

Like many restomods, this Corvette is a work of art and we can only imagine the amount of time and money that went into the car to make it so special. In many cases, it’s the details that can make a car special and you’ll see them everywhere in this midyear.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to talk with the owner but I’m sure you’ll agree that in this case we can let the pictures tell the story.
