2015 Chevrolet Corvette to Get OnStar 4G LTE

Yesterday we reported the 2015 Corvette was slated to get the Performance Data Recorder as an option. Now Chevrolet is hitting the Corvette with another tech infusion by offering OnStar 4G LTE as an optional extra.

With OnStar high-speed data provided by AT&T, the Corvette with 4G LTE will be a rolling Wi-Fi hotspot to which several high-speed wireless devices can connect simultaneously.

Expect to see 4G LTE in C7 Corvettes sometime in the third quarter of this year when 2015 models begin to hit dealerships. Pricing will be announced closer to launch.
