Buy Your Very Own Racetrack

By -

Give yourself the gift of your own private racetrack — or start a new career as a track owner!

We all have roads we like driving near our homes, for fun, or for shakedown purposes after modifications or maintenance. For the sake of safety, civic pride, or self-preservation, we are unable to push the limits of ourselves or our machines on these roads. So we generally stick to the posted speed limit, “give or take” a few miles per hour.

But imagine your own private racetrack, where you could test those limits in a safe environment — or maybe just blow off some steam after a rough day at the office. If you live in or near New Florence, Missouri — or you aren’t opposed to moving there — you’re one step closer to making this dream come true.

RacingJunk is offering up a 3/8 mile dirt track for just under a half-million dollars. While a dirt track is less than ideal for our Corvettes, paving the track could be a worthwhile proposition. Especially since the track facilities were just remodeled in 2012.

Whether you keep the dirt or pave it, the track could be even more rewarding if you spread the wealth, and host racing events. With fresh offices, plumbing, and a concession stand, you’ve got all the pieces you need to get your start as a racetrack owner. Sure beats the heck out of any “man cave” we’ve ever seen.

Imagine pulling up to Montgomery Motorsports Park — perhaps renamed “Your Name Here” Motorsports Park — in your Corvette. Imagine rallying your team of employees to prepare the place for hundreds (thousands?) of race fans and racers alike.

Forget blowing steam off after a day at the office — make this your office!

So, let us know: are you ready for a career change?
