C6 Corvette Offers Turnkey 9-Second Performance

C6 Corvette

C6 Corvette offers sleeper appearance, crazy quarter-mile performance, and an agreeable price tag.

If you’ve ever built a car, you know the drill. You spend countless hours and days researching the right parts combination to achieve your desired level of performance. Then, you go out and spend lots of dollars buying them. Next, you’ve got to either do the knuckle dragging yourself, or pay someone to install all that kit and ensure it’s working properly. Or, you can just head over to the Corvette Forum Marketplace and buy yourself a 9-second C6 Corvette for pennies on the dollar.

The blown 416 cubic-inch LS3 that powers this beast was professionally built and tuned, so you know it’s good to go. The enlarged mill makes a healthy 750 hp at the wheels, (mainly) courtesy of an A&A V3-Ti supercharger. That’s with a modest 10 psi of boost. It’s mounted on a stout base too, with a Scat bottom end and nothing less than ARP components holding it all together.

If all of that isn’t enough, this C6 Corvette was previously plumbed for nitrous and is ethanol ready. Running on the latter, it’s easily capable of producing well over 1,000 hp. And this C6 is kicking it old school in the transmission department too, with a row-your-own 6-speed manual.

With drag tires, this bad, black ‘Vette has run a best 9.9-second quarter mile at 138 mph. We’re guessing from the parts combo that it’s got a lot more in it. If you’re the type who doesn’t mind banging through your own gears, of course. However, the best part about this C6 Corvette is the fact that you can’t replicate it for the asking price of $28k.

It’s also just one of many amazing machines and various parts available in the Marketplace. So be sure and head over here to scope out everything our members currently have for sale. And maybe even sell some of your extra stuff, too!
