I’ve come across a lot of photos of the C7, but I can’t think of one that better captures the fun you can have in a Corvette and the kind of winter we’ve had this year.

Now, that looks like fun.

In fact, I’d say this is one of those once-in-a-lifetime shots that deserves prime placement right there above the mantel in the living room. Just the irony of seeing the C7 plowing through the snow is something to behold.

The photograph was shot by a team at Automobile Magazine as part of the publication’s long term review of the C7. In the story, the writer, David Zenlea, talks about driving the car to Washington D.C., Grand Rapids, and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, all through the snow, salt, ice and grime.

It seems as though switching those original Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires for winter-spec Michelin Alpins paid off. It’s quite an adventure, and well worth the read. Plus, there’s a few more cool winter photos too.
