Callaway Releases Official Numbers on C7 Upgrade
I feel like I should just go ahead and call this the power era for the C7 because we’re getting wind of a lot of big numbers for the car.
After showcasing its first take on the new Corvette earlier this year, the team at Callaway has released the official numbers and pricing for its basic C7 performance upgrade, as reported by Motor Authority. The 627-horsepower package, dubbed the “SC627,” costs $17,995 in addition to the cost of the ‘Vette.
Hell, considering the package also beefs up the performance to 610 pound-feet of torque, it could turn out to be a better buy than the new Z06.
Then again, I guess that probably depends on whether you prefer performance packages from the manufacturer or companies like Callaway.
