Camaro ZL1 is the Perfect Accessory For Your Z07

Some guys have all the luck. Others work hard to make their dreams a reality. While we’re fairly certain that Corvette Forum member “charles7970” is in the latter category, we can’t help but feel a bit jealous.
That’s because Charles just picked up a new Camaro ZL1 to sit alongside his Corvette Z07. While the first response to the thread in our forum was, “Must be nice. Which do you like best?” Charles replied that the Corvette is and will always be his favorite.
The Camaro is a serious piece of machinery though. With an impressive combination of performance and day-to-day practicality, it’s an excellent garage companion for a Corvette. That’s especially true when both are ordered in black, with blacked-out wheels and trim to match.

They make for a sinister and serious-looking pair, ready to take on all comers. Imagine opening your garage door every morning to be greeted by these two beauties. Wondering, “Which one do I drive?” is a tough choice we’d be happy to mull over. Either one makes for a great commuter car for a supervillain on the go.
Since both cars have the same engine, charles7970 was asked about driving impressions. Apparently the weight difference is very noticeable, and he was a bit surprised by how poor the gas mileage is in the Camaro. However, the Camaro feels more solid and is quieter.
That’s good news, since the Camaro ZL1 is apparently charles7970’s new daily driver. We’d happily give up a few miles per gallon for a quieter, more compliant ride – oh yeah, 650 thundering horsepower isn’t bad, either.
