Hey, they don’t call it “Hollyweird” for nothing, which is why I guess these photos of the local L.A. phenomenon Angelyne in her pink C7 really shouldn’t surprise me at all. And yet, for some reason I still find them pretty damn bizarre.
The custom Corvette, recently showcased at the Essen Motor Show in Germany, was created by the German tuning company Prior Design. The modified C7 features a completely different front fascia with a carbon-fiber diffuser, carbon side skirts, widened wheel arches and Aristo forged wheels.
Within 48 hours of getting their hands on the new Z06, Vengeance Racing managed to get 660 RWHP and 663 RWTQ out of the car with only an additional pulley and a modified AFE cold-air intake.
First thing’s first: we know the 2015 Corvette Z06 in bone-stock form makes 585 horsepower and 617 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. Why do we know this? Vengeance Racing just got their hands on a brand-new Z06. They are the first tuner we know of to do so, and they immediately got the car on the dyno once they got it back to the shop. But it’s what they did before they drove the car off the lot that has a lot of people going crazy on Facebook right now.
The repairs are expected to take a while, but there’s comfort in knowing the 1 Millionth Corvette, which is valued at $750,000, won’t wind up living out the rest of its days at the museum in its current condition, which would be another catastrophe in and of itself.
