Today, we’re getting a bit nostalgic for a group shot from the Cedar Rapids Corvette Club taken in the year of their founding, 1963.
The caption of the photo on the CRCC website reads:
The fall of 1963 finds CRCC members in front of their polished Vettes. In the front row (from left) are Bud Kirkpatrick, Floyd Dirks, Ron Denny, Harold Kennedy, Bill Fahey and Denny Thorson. In the second row are Don Schilling, Harry Rude, Ken Anderson, Joe Bernolfo, Bob Herring and Frenchie Massure.

What’s makes this picture particularly fun to post is that the club, which bills itself as the largest Corvette club in Iowa, recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary and took another group photo under the Blue Arch of Pat McGrath Chevrolet.
