Gorgeous Survivor ’63 Corvette Split Window Coupe

We can argue all day about whether an immaculate restoration or a survivor car is the true Corvette to have, however in this case, it’s very hard to argue against a survivor car. This 1963 split window coupe belongs to new Corvette Forum member Barnfinder, and we have to say it is absolutely stunning. This one is upholstered in saddle tan, and the paint goes by the same name as well. The paint is also believed to be original, being described as “patina” by the owner in this thread.

It’s also described as an all-original 300-hp, 4-speed car with the window sticker and owner’s manual still intact. It also included a bit of bonus history with evidence that the car was auctioned some time in 1970 or 1971. As for the rest of the car, it’s a very complete example, with only a few minor oddities here and there. Which is good because the owner dipped into his 401K in order to get it! Though that might be a bit crazy, we totally understand this sort of impulse buy. Would you buy one as an investment or a weekend toy, or maybe both?
