Corvette Forum Member’s Widebody C6 Corvette Up for Grabs

C6 Corvette

After years of bringing smiles to sick kids, this killer widebody C6 Corvette moved on. But now it’s looking for a new home.

If you’re a regular around Corvette Forum, you might recall the story of forum member ez2spd and his killer C6 Corvette. He spent years transforming the car into a crazy fast and sweet looking ride. But more importantly, he decked it out in Lightning McQueen garb and used it to bring smiles to the faces of sick kids in his community. He then sold it to a fellow forum member back in April. But now, the “super” C6 Corvette is once again back up for grabs in the marketplace.

That Cars-inspired wrap is long gone, but the rest of this killer ride remains. That includes the Supervette ZR8X wide body kit, Forgester F16 wheels, and fresh 345/20, 295/19 Toyo tires. But of course, this C6 Corvette isn’t just about looks. It backs up that extra wide stance with 414 cubic inches of stroked LS power, courtesy of HSquared Racing. With a laundry list of go fast parts, the small block has put down an impressive 725 hp at the crank and 638 at the wheels.

All-in-all, the OP has invested a claimed $47k in his ride, and we have little reason to doubt that. But at the same time, they haven’t put too many miles on it. The ‘Vette has only traveled 1,800 miles on the motor and just 200 miles on the transmission. So you know it’s got plenty of life (and smoky burnouts) left in it.

Sadly, an unforeseen health issue is forcing the new owner to part ways with his ride. Which, of course, is not the way we like to see these types of stories end. Especially for a car that’s done so much for others. Now we just hope that someone else steps up, helps out a fellow member, and keeps this legacy alive!
