Here’s a Belated Fourth of July Celebration, Corvette Style
I’m still reminiscing about the smell of that smoke coming from ribs simmering on my grille this past Fourth of July.
There’s just something about spending the day barbecuing with family and friends on the fourth that makes all that time you put in preparing to host an event at your house worthwhile. But I certainly wouldn’t have minded ringing in the holiday with the Corvettes featured in these videos as well.
Both clips feature ceremonial Corvette burnouts pulled together in honor of America’s Independence holiday. The first, posted by 1320Video and titled “‘Merica!!!”, features a guy by the name of David treating us to a rolling burnout in his 800-horsepower “ShelbyKiller” turbo Corvette touting an American flag for the show.
The second video features a burnout in a 2002 Z06 our friend Jason Connor reviewed for Hooniverse to the sounds of Kids in America by Kim Wilde.
