A few years back, Corvette Forum member 65silververt purchased a pretty darn nice 1963 C2 Corvette. Today, after a brilliant restoration and some tasty new additions, this stunning split window restomod is really darn nice. Nice enough to be our Corvette of the Week!

Upon purchase, from a fellow forum member back in 2013, 65silververt had a vision in mind, which he detailed intricately at the beginning of his now 25-page build thread. Here’s what she looked like back then:

Some 2,000 hours of restoration work went into this C2 restomod, which now sports a 6.2 liter LS376 V8 with 525 horsepower, a Tremec 5-speed manual, SRIIII Motorsports chassis with C6 suspension, custom Boze wheels, and custom Al Knoch-tweaked interior, just to name a few of the finer points. Have a look at this beauty now:

65silververt recently put the car up for sale with RK Motors, which made the exceptional video below. According to RK, the car’s now been sold, hopefully for a boatload of money.

So congrats to 65silververt on the deal, and for a Corvette of the Week win to send her off in style!
