Corvette of the Week: This Dreamy 1990 ZR-1 Could Be Yours

C4 Corvette of the Week

For many of us, a red Corvette C4 ZR-1 is pretty much the American Dream on wheels. Now you can make that dream a reality.

Long-time Corvette Forum member loony is selling his 1990 red/black ZR-1, #365. And this baby’s definitely a classic, now that she’s old enough. But not just any classic, now she’s a Corvette of the Week winning classic.

Having received such an honor, we can’t guarantee loony won’t change his mind about selling the car. So you better hop into the sale thread and make an offer quick like a bunny. He’s asking $21K for the car, which only has 44,310 miles; it’s always been garaged, never met snow, and never been in an accident.

And we are talking about the 1990 ZR-1 here, folks. This is a torch-bearer here. The first model year of the automotive world-shattering C4 ZR-1, the car Corvette worked on with Lotus to imagine flame-throwing beast. And that beast didn’t come cheap. Back then, MSRP on the ZR-1 was $58,995, but some dealers were pricing them for as much as $100k.

This appears to be a fine example of a superb car. Fine enough to be our Corvette of the Week winner, that’s for sure. If you’re interested in making this winner your winner, there’s plenty more info in the thread, including car history from AutoCheck. So hop  on in. And while you’re at it, be sure to congratulate loony on his COTW.
