Corvette Santa Spreads Cheer in Philadelphia
As much as I love the idea of helping the children of Philly, my first reaction to this video was: “How did they not get arrested?” Seriously, in today’s climate of weirdos everywhere, how did these two grown men in a C6 Corvette not get arrested after handing out “presents” to children they saw on the street?
Yes, this is a very cynical view of the world, but seriously, take a look at the news once in a while. The world is full of crazy people who do all sorts of things. Normal people are on high alert. While I hope for positive situations like the one in this video to occur, this just is asking for trouble … especially in a super-loud C6 Corvette.
All my preconceived notions aside, I think what these men are doing is awesome, and I’d love more people to help their communities. They’re also helping the image of muscle car and sports car owners, so it’s a win-win. What do you think? Would you have had the nerve to do this, or the fortitude to help your community?
