650 horsepower-worth of Corvette Z06 offers a lot of bang for not much buck.

Corvettes are often referred to as being great ‘bang for the buck’ super cars. However, a nicely spec’d C7 Corvette Z06 is still about $90,000, which is a big chunk of change. What if you can’t swing the Z06 price tag, but still want a taste of excellence? How much would you be willing to pay for a day of open air motoring in a choice Arctic White example?

Well, according to EAD Exotics, and their ad we found on Craigslist, they think the answer to that question is, apparently, $299.

This 2016 Corvette Z06 is packing a stock LT4 V8 engine, good for 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. Behind that monster motor is an 8-speed automatic transmission, which, according to some, is the right transmission for the job at hand. It has has real, downforce-producing aerodynamics, massive brakes, and even bigger tires. All of which works together to make one of the most extreme packages to ever bare the Corvette nameplate.

It’s a sweet ride, but our question remains: Would you be willing to rent it for $299 a day? Would you ever rent out your ‘Vette, on Craigslist, no less? We’re curious to hear your thoughts on this one.
