Corvette ZR1 Owner Gets Called Out in Silly Hype Video

By -

Dodge Demon fanboy invites all his haters to a race, and he does it in a very curious fashion.

Ah, drag racing. A sport ripe with heartache and glory, where only a lucky few get to taste victory. But drag/street racing isn’t just about winning, of course. In this day and age, where social media rules the world, it’s also about running your mouth better than anybody else. And there’s no better place to do that than on YouTube, where dudes like¬†Demonology¬†make a living not just showing off their cars, but also by showing off their trash-talking prowess. The latest example of which is a somewhat strange clip mashup that serves as a callout to a number of “Demon haters,” including one that pilots a C7 Corvette ZR1.

We’re talking about fellow YouTuber StreetSpeed717, who has had his fair share of experience racing Demons. Most recently a guy who goes by TunnelChaser. But as Demonology interestingly documents in this very video, that same Dodge doesn’t fare very well against StreetSpeed717’s Corvette ZR1. So why would he include this footage in the hype video? Well, so he can list, on screen, excuses for the way each run turned out.

Perhaps those gripes are fair, perhaps not. And you can’t blame him for being mad, given the fact that we’ve seen the Demon lose to so many Corvettes recently. Regardless, Demonology is calling out not only our Corvette ZR1 owner, but all other YouTube Dodge Demon haters in that very same car. And he does it in very modern day fashion by ripping off footage from the mega hit film Avengers: Infinity War.

Admittedly, the whole thing is both amusing and entertaining. So you can bet we’ll be looking forward to how things pan out at the upcoming¬†Mod2Fame Fest, which is the battleground chosen for this particular call out.
