Corvette at Carlisle

Chip’s Choice will honor the Corvettes of law enforcement, and Aerobody Corvettes will also be featured at Corvettes at Carlisle 2021.

Most large annual car shows feature a specific sub-model to honor at the event. However, Corvettes at Carlisle is the largest Corvette show in the world. The scope of the show is so vast that Carlisle typically features multiple sub-models and 2021 is no different. Featured cars this year will include Corvettes owned by law enforcement. 1971 model year Corvettes. All Grand Sport models. Aerobody Corvettes. And solid axle Corvettes. But Corvettes at Carlisle is a lot more than just a collection of show cars.

Set to run August 26-28 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, the 2021 event promises more Corvette content than ever. As mentioned previously there are the featured car displays but that is just the tip of the crossed flags. If you can’t find something that you love at this show, then we have to question your Corvette enthusiasm in the first place.

Take Home a Corvette

There is a car corral section on the show grounds that is reserved only for Corvettes being offered for sale. From rough daily driver or restoration project cars to pristine historic Corvettes you will them all here. Anything your wallet, and significant other will allow you can purchase at the event. There are even title transfer services and a notary office on site. You can arrive in an Uber and drive home in a Corvette.

Don’t have the money for a Corvette right now? No problem, you can win one. Actually, you can win two. There is a Corvette sweepstakes that you can enter to win a 60th anniversary Cunningham C8 Corvette. You could win that for as little as 25 bucks. There is also a raffle being held for a 2021 Corvette Coupe 2LT. Drawing for that will be held on August 28. If you are the lucky type you could also enter to win a trip to Ron Fellows Professional Driving School. And if that is not enough, there are cash drawings as well. Ten lucky winners will take home $500 in cash.

Make Some Noise

Nobody wants a quiet Corvette. Prove to the world that you have the loudest, most bad ass sounding Corvette in the land at the rolling exhaust contest. Accelerate in your Corvette up the hill from Gate 6 to Gate 5 and be judged on how good you sound while doing it. There are three qualifying rounds and a finale. Even if you don’t win, heck even if you don’t compete, who would want to miss seeing and hearing Corvettes under full acceleration?

If you are still running your stock exhaust and need to get a new one installed, you can have that done at Carlisle as well. Just one mile down the road, A&A Auto Stores will do the install for you. The on Saturday at noon, you can fire up your Corvette and rev the engine for 15 seconds in tribute to Chip Miller.

Cash prizes are awarded in six different categories. Obviously, there are plenty of ways to compete at Carlisle if you should so choose.
