Corvettes Take Center Stage at Cruisin’ the Coast

Remember that Jewel Blue 1961 Corvette from the 2016 Cruisin’ the Coast event?

Well, apparently that car, owned by Michael Mardellus of Biloxi, was only a snapshot of all the cool Corvettes showcased at the gathering. Our friends at Super Chevy have pulled together a photo gallery highlighting 100 ‘Vettes displayed during the event, including nine of our favorites shared below.

Now, that certainly doesn’t take anything away from Mardellus’ classic Jewel Blue beauty, which was one of an estimated 1,000 or so Corvettes on hand for the popular Mississippi Gulf Coast event. It just means that Mr. Mardellus’ Corvette was in great company, with roughly 8,000 hot rods on display.

It’s also just further confirmation that Cruisin’ the Coast has definitely become a must-do event for true Corvette fans, as highlighted in the full Super Chevy gallery.
