Corvettes to Storm the Beaches of Pensacola Beach Sept. 27 & 28

Vettes at the Beach

Hosted by Miracle Strip Corvette Club, Vettes at the Beach expects over 300 ‘Vettes to be blessed by the warm Florida sun.

There are lots of places where a Corvette looks right at home. The downtown commercial business district? There’s likely a C-suite exec in their ‘Vette there. Canyon and forest roads? An owner taking their ride for a bit of exercise, of course. A car show? Only a Corvette’s natural habitat.

And then, there’s the beach. The sun, the surf, the sand, the palm trees, it’s the only place where any given Corvette can be found year-round. Thus, it’s the perfect setting for the 17th annual Vettes at the Beach, scheduled to land on the beaches of Pensacola Beach, Florida September 27 and 28.

Vettes at the Beach

Set against the backdrop of the resort community’s famed white sand beaches and warm emerald waters, Vettes on the Beach is organized by Pensacola, Florida’s Miracle Strip Corvette Club to bring fans of America’s sports car together to celebrate and bond over the icon. The first event had brought 60 local ‘Vettes to the beach, while this year’s affair expects over 300 from all around the country to enjoy a reprieve from the cooling long nights of autumn.

Participants who bring their Corvettes to Vettes on the Beach can not only enjoy being among new friends, but also a welcome dinner on the first night, a curated playlist of music to fill their ears (when their V8s aren’t doing the singing), and a shot at a few trophies on the second day.

Said trophies are awarded for the best Corvette overall, the best one of its given generation, the sponsors’ favorite ‘Vette on the beach, which Corvette club rocked it this year, and the top 25 best ‘Vettes gathered for the festivities.

If you’re down for some time in the warm Florida sun, pre-registration for Vettes on the Beach is $40 until August 31, $50 thereafter. Nearby hotels have special event rates to make your stay in Pensacola Beach gentle on your pocketbook, though you’ll have until September 12 at the latest to snag up said deals. We certainly can’t think of a better beach weekend with a Corvette than this one.
