If you’ve read any of my previous posts, you know I have a soft spot for our American troops … always have and always will.

That said, whenever I come across anything our Veterans are doing in the world of Corvettes, I’m going to do my best to let others know about it on this forum.

The most recent news I’ve come across is an event called “All Corvette Cruise Nights” put on by the CT Military Corvette Club (CMCC), which is made up of prior and current military members.

Now in its third season, the events will be held every Wednesday night beginning May 14 until Sept. 10, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Hooters in Manchester, Connecticut.

The 33-member Corvette club uses the outings to help raise funds to help state organizations that assist Connecticut-area Vets. Previous events have benefited the Wounded Warriors Project-CT, Purple Heart Homes (Manchester and Canton projects), South Park Inn in Hartford, USMC SGT Greg Caron Benefit, CT National Guard Foundation, CT-PGA Folds of Honor Foundation and the New Britain Veteran’s Concert.

If you happen to be in the Connecticut area, be sure to support them.
