Most of us worker-bees here at the Corvette Forum offices are having difficulty dealing with this pic. It was recently shared on Corvette’s official Facebook page. Determining from the nearly 20,000 responses and more than 1,600 shares the Corvette Grand Sport photo has garnered since being posted on March 23, it’s clear we aren’t the only ones feeling the catharsis.
Here’s what one commenter who goes by Sindee Greenberg posted about the pic on the Corvette page. “Beautiful Vette, beautiful view, and with that door open … man, I want to climb in! Great picture!”
Another commenter named Candi Collins decided to post the image at right to convey her feelings about the photo.
Even a former Corvette skeptic, who goes by the name of Mel Le, seems to have been officially swayed by the photo.
“I’ve never been fond of Chevy, particularly the Corvette. After much research about the Stingray for the last couple of months, I’ve got to admit, it is one hot-looking machine! Definitely falling for the white-and-red color combo, and the sleek, yet masculine design!”, wrote Le.
Then again, how in the world could anyone (Corvette fan or not) look at an awe-striking American beauty like this overlooking a picturesque view like that, and not instantly find themselves dreaming of a weekend road getaway?
