Forgiato’s Spin on Corvettes is a “No-Go”
Nope, not feeling these one bit, but I figured I’d share it anyway because I’m kind of forced to cover any and everything in the world of Corvettes here.
The wide-body Stingrays I came across in an AutoEvolution report were created by Forgiato and feature custom fenders, wheels and a God-awful custom grille treatment. Oh, and as if that wasn’t enough, they’ve added a bright paint scheme that says,“Hey, how about we destroy all of the classic appeal Chevy worked so hard to achieve in designing the new C7.”
I mean, come on, these cars practically desecrate every single styling cue we love about the new Corvette Stingray.
Sure, I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I certainly don’t mind a few custom features on the new ‘Vette — and don’t get me wrong, I truly like some of the stuff Forgiato does, but honestly, I can barely stand to look at these things, and I would prefer to refrain from even calling them Corvettes.
