The 2017 Corvette Grand Sport Is a Proper Sports Car
The reviews are in, and the Corvette Grand Sport is pretty darn good on all accounts. If the Corvette lineup is Goldilocks’s bowls of porridge, the Stingray is a bit cool, the Z06 might be too hot, but the Grand Sport merges the two and is all the better for it. It’s just right.
The below video’s host, Mr. Alex Goy, is a jolly-old car reviewer who jumps into a Corvette for the first time with the Grand Sport, and he immediately loves it. This is the car that Corvette engineers have worked hard on, and you can really tell.
It handles neutrally, it has just the right level of power for the chassis, and Goy even dubs it a “proper, proper sports car,” which is high praise from one of those non-American journalists. Watching him scoot around the track with a big smile on his face is well worth your time.
