How Long Have You Owned Your Corvette?
It’s no secret that average American consumers are keeping their cars longer than ever, but Corvettes rarely fall into the “average” category. The following question should be expected then: how long have you had, or do you plan on keeping your Corvette?
Way back in the Internet history books, we asked what you drove before buying a C7, and there were a few C6s and C5s that were traded in for the new Stingray, which is what initially prompted this length of ownership curiosity.
I can imagine there’s a lot of reasons for both sides of the short-term/long-term argument. For those that have owned a Corvette for over six years or so, I’m curious to know the reason why. Was it something handed down by family member? A dream purchase that finally came true? A reason can even be simple, such as “I just like it.”
For the folks that have a shorter term of ownership, what are your reasons for parting with your Corvette after just a few years? Interested in the newer models, or having a vehicle under warranty?
