The 2016 Zo6 C7-R Special Edition isn’t going to be available to all of us… sadly. I guess they wouldn’t call it a special edition if it was going to be readily available. So for the rest of us who have a stock Corvette, we are left with the realization that if we want a track ready Corvette, we are on our own. So what does it take to build a track ready Corvette?

This week’s How-To Tuesday article can get you started, or at least moving down the right path, to taking your Corvette to the track. Take a glance through this article and try and tell us that it hasn’t started getting your racing wheels in motion.

One of the best features of America’s Sports Car is that it is simply bred to hit the track. You don’t have to be driving a track-ready Zo6. In fact, a lot of great race cars in the public sector likely started as a standard, run-of-the-mill factory production car. That’s what makes this week’s article so great. If you have a Corvette to start with, you’re already the majority of the way to the starting line.

Have you built your track-ready Corvette? Anything that you would like to add to this week’s How-To article? Any tips or tricks you can give to the budding Corvette Racing enthusiast? Let us know, we would love to hear from you!
