LMR 1958 Corvette LS7

I don’t know about you, but around the Corvette Forum office, we’re big fans of well done resto mods. We love when a car is perfectly set up to handle pretty much anything you can throw at it, but still maintains those classic good looks that you just can’t get on new cars.

Case in point, Late Model Racecraft’s 1958 Corvette. Unlike other Corvette’s of similar vintage, this is no trailer queen. Set up to be an absolute beast, LMR stuck the thumping LS7 V8, complete with dry sump, into the ’58, and it looks and sounds like an absolute banshee. Here’s their baseline dyno of the LS7…

Now this is not LMR’s first rodeo making big power out of these amazing compact Chevy engines. Besides the 1958 Corvette, their other current build is a C6 Z06 dubbed Reaper, and it’s even crazier than the 1958 LS7 Corvette. Take a look…

In other words, if you want power out of your Corvette, head on over to Late Model Racecraft, they’ll hook you up right.
