Man Rents 2013 Corvette as Getaway Car?
I’m starting to think stupidity really is contagious because it seems that everyday there’s a story of some idiot who completely ups the ante.
Case in point: this 37-year-old guy who allegedly shot someone in Montana and then tried to make a getaway in a silver 2013 Corvette that he rented for the caper.
Couldn’t he have picked something less conspicuous?
The suspect, Luke Andrew Lapinski, was sitting in the ‘Vette when he fired two shots from the driver’s-side window with one shot striking the victim in his calf, according to a Montana Standard report.
As expected, it didn’t take long for police to track down the suspect using his cell phone, which further validates my point that stupidity is now running rampant.
