MBWorld Forum Users Love the Corvette C7 Z06
Finding praise for the C7 Z06 around here is not that difficult. However, finding that same praise and admiration in a forum the likes of MBWorld is pretty interesting. Surrounded by the epic AMG line, it’s good to see that enthusiasm and a love for speed translates between brands that are seemingly widely separated.
It’s easy to see why though, as the Corvette Z06 has moved itself very effectively into the segment of a high quality super coupe. As we know, performance for a stock Z06 in a straight line is in the 10s for the 1/4 mile, and that’s likely to leave most of the AMG line in the rearview mirror. So what is it that draws them to the Z06? Is it the styling, the performance? The quality? The equipment level? Or is it perhaps because you can actually still get the Corvette with a manual?
It could be one reason, or all of them listed. But let’s not dwell on that. For now, let’s be humble and absorb the admiration.
