National Corvette Restorers Society Teams with ‘Winter AutoFest’

Expect to see plenty of hot ‘Vettes at the 2019 event, which will debut a special Corvette-themed weekend.

A Corvette-themed showcase will be making its debut at Florida’s Winter AutoFest early next year. Presented by Carlisle Events, the masterminds behind Corvettes at Carlisle, the annual showcase in Lakeland offers three days of all things automotive, from a swap meet and car corral to a collector-car auction and, of course, a car show.

Happening Feb. 22-24, the 2019 car show promises to be the biggest and best one yet, with the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) teaming with Winter AutoFest to give guests even more to see at the weekend event. In past years, MCRS hosted its own stand-alone showcase, but this year it is part of the newly-branded 41st Annual NCRS Winter Regional Corvette Show. There is a judged element to the show, and Carlisle Auctions will host at least one Corvette-specific hour as part of its two-day auction in the adjacent auction arena.

‘We look forward to ensuring this event and venue become a destination for every Corvette lover to visit.’

“I’m always excited to steer more Corvettes and their owners to this event,” says Carlisle Events co-owner Lance Miller. “On behalf of Carlisle Events and Corvettes at Carlisle, we’re encouraging all Corvette [enthusiasts] to come out and support this event. We look forward to ensuring this event and venue become a destination for every Corvette lover to visit.”

Participants in the NCRS event will gain entry to the Winter AutoFest weekend for themselves and a guest, plus enjoy other incentives. Corvettes who choose to be a part of the all-new “Corvette VIP” showcase will also be privy to some amazing perks, too, including VIP access to preview the day’s auction, and an evening cookout.
