C7 Corvette ZR1 sounds better than ever in this latest spy video.

Ah, the beauty of hearing the new Corvette ZR1 roaring around the Nürburgring. Go ahead, give it a listen and we’re sure you’ll agree: it’s the kind of thing that dreams are made of for anyone who has a passion for the adrenaline rush that comes with driving a ‘Vette.

This most recent dose of adrenaline-driven, automotive fantasy comes courtesy of YouTuber “Carspotter Jeroen“.

As duly noted in the auto mag’s report, the video clip doesn’t necessarily provide us with any new details about the ZR1.

But it certainly puts an exclamation point on the idea that the new ZR1 will be the C7 to own for those who really crave the best that the C7 has to offer when it comes to high performance.

Some of the visual details on the prototype seen here, tackling the legendary track in Germany, include left-facing exhaust pipes and the same monstrous wing seen on previous ZR1 prototypes. Still, the most prominent feature showcased in the video is no doubt the car’s high-revving supercharged V8.

Oh, then there’s that brief moment in the clip where the ZR1 can be seen blowing by a Mercedes-Benz E-Class on the track. Sure, it’s not like passing the sedan was some major feat for the ZR1. Though, being able to hear the action puts it in an entirely different context.

Of course, we’re sure nothing quite brings the idea to life like being behind the wheel of the new C7 variant.
