Here you have it, friends: the team that will try to fill the shoes of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May as the new hosts of BBC’s Top Gear.

Joining British presenter Chris Evans will be Matt LeBlanc — better known as Joey from the NBC hit sitcom Friends — Rory Reid, Sabine Schmitz, Chris Harris, Eddie Jordan, and the Stig, as highlighted in a Motor Authority report. Exactly how all seven hosts will be worked into the series remains to be seen. But the group certainly seems to have the automotive chops to keep car buffs entertained.

Harris and Reid are both well-respected automotive journalists. Schmitz and Jordan, on the other hand, bring racing experience to the team.

Of course, the thing that made the Clarkson team so special were the personalities, which might be why Chris Harris initially called accepting one of the co-host spots career suicide, as highlighted in the video below. And so did Reid in a 2011 Tweet:

Now, it appears that both Harris and Reid are set on proving that idea wrong. Let’s hope they’re right.
