Patriotic Corvette to Be Raffled Off in Honor of Law Enforcement

Patriotic 2

A man in Albuquerque, New Mexico has found a rather unique way to pay tribute to law enforcement: by rallying off a 1998 Corvette.

This Corvette, however, isn’t your “average” C5 with a stock 5.7-liter V8. Nope, this ‘Vette features a mural under the hood as well, which honors heroes from historic events like 9/11 and Pearl Harbor, as highlighted in a KRQE News report below.

The patriotic Corvette, which James Santistevan bought in its current form from a war veteran, has inspired the owner to raffle off the car with the funds going to efforts aimed at honoring fallen soldiers and police officers who have died in the line of duty.

More specifically, Santistevan, is aiming to sell upwards of $7,500 raffle tickets at $20 a piece, with half of the money going to Intrepid Fallen Heroes and the other half going to Ten-82 Fund, benefiting the families of fallen law enforcement officers in New Mexico.

Kudos to you, Mr. Santistevan.
