Would you like a nice big glass of “Hell Yeah, America!” to kick your weekend off right? Of course you would! Allow me then to regale you with a tale of pride, ingenuity, and the American spirit. The tale begins with a research group called Consumer Reports stumbling upon a tiny little town known as Bowling Green in a state named Kentucky.

Now you see, Consumer Reports was looking for the most American car in these United States, and they found exactly what they were looking for in Bowling Green. They found a machine that proudly wore a pair of crossed flags across its aggressive nose, and the word “Corvette” on the rear. When they went to inspect that sexy slab of V8 powered goodness, they realized that a full 75-percent of its pieces and bits were sourced right here in the good old US of A. That number is good enough to give the Corvette the title of “Most American Car.”

The Corvette is not alone on top of this podium. Consumer Reports found that the Buick Enclave, Cadillac CTS, Chevrolet Traverse, and GMC Acadia all met that magical 75-percent number. If you ever wondered which car companies really love America, General Motors is literally at the top of the list.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I think I will leave you with this tale of triumph and patriotism. I need to go outside and do a huge smoky burnout to celebrate this great nation.
