Irish mansion has us thinking of the old adage: you have to grow old, but you don’t have to grow up.

Man caves seem to be all the rage these days, bringing all the excitement of the bar and video arcade to the comfort of your own home. Pool tables, wet bars, arcade machines, and dartboards are all pretty standard fare. Larger homes can take things up a notch with stadium seating, and we’ve all seen at least one real estate listing with an indoor bowling alley.

This 6,900 square foot mansion in Moneymore, Ireland, listed by Stanley Best Real Estate Agents, takes the man cave out of the basement and makes the best use of its sprawling, 28 acre property. That’s because this home comes complete with a 5/8th mile, MSA-approved race track.

Built to exacting standards, this competition-level go-kart track is more than mere child’s play. Don’t worry, though: the kids have their own, smaller track, as well as a play area, so it’s fun for the whole family. Oh, and the track can also facilitate cars, as well. Spectators have their own viewing area of the action, while competitors have a private dressing room to get suited up.

Once the fun is over, there’s dedicated garage and workshop space for the cars, or karts, and an outdoor barbecue pit to refuel while you share racing stories. You can also relieve some post-race stress inside the home’s built-in spa and sauna, or take a few laps around the pool.

Then again, after seeing the full-service go-kart track, a pool and private movie theater (did we mention it has one of those, too?) seem so…pedestrian.

We’re already certain that this is more than likely your dream home, but if a commute to and from Ireland seems a bit long, don’t worry: there’s a private helipad on the property. Besides, at about $3 million USD, it’s likely much cheaper than the home with a full-size racetrack that our friends at 6SpeedOnline featured back in 2015.
