The C7 Corvette. Chevy’s shining achievement in the world of sports cars. As we speak, the first ones are rolling off the assembly lines and being shipped to the reviewers across the country. They’ll heap praise on it and talk about how much of a “driver’s car” it is and how it’s basically the best thing since the invention of the pushrod V8. In a few weeks, the first C7s will be squirreled away by collectors, driven slowly, and parked in the shade. Some will be taken autocrossing or the track. That’s all fine and dandy.
