Does it get any more rad than a Callaway Corvette? Back in the day, this beast would cost you more than double the price of a regular Corvette. And, for that, you got some bragging rights. The car pumped out over 380 horsepower. That may seem quaint today but 30 years ago if you wanted more you needed to step up to something like a Lamborghini Countach. The car hit 60 mph in a little over 4 seconds and topped out at over 190 mph. This was 1990, people. However, right around the same time, Chevy rolled out the ZR-1 with similar capabilities. As a result, less than 60 of these cars were built in 1990, so seeing one anywhere is a real treat.

Joe has been obsessed with cars since he got his very first Matchbox toy in the ‘70s. In 2003, he found a new obsession in track days that led to obtaining his SCCA competition license in 2015. In 2019, he became a certified driving instructor for the National Auto Sport Association. His love for all things four wheels has never wavered, whether it's driving some of the best cars in the world on the racetrack, tackling 2,000-mile road trips in 2-seat sports cars or being winched off the side of a mountaintop in a Jeep. Writing for the suite of Internet Brands Auto Communities sites, including Rennlist.com, Ford Truck Enthusiasts, 6 Speed and more allows him to share that knowledge and passion with others.
