Top Gear Video Shows New Z06 at Its Best
After learning the 2015 Corvette Z06 earned Top Gear’s “Muscle Car of the Year,” we expected that some great footage of the guys testing the car was bound to pop up at some point.
The video below doesn’t disappoint, and paints a pretty clear picture of why the new Z06 earned the U.K. mag’s “Muscle Car of the Year” award.

Top Gear: did you really have to bed that video with the blues? That’s rather depressing for such a lively Corvette, no? I don’t know about you folks in the U.K., but when I think Corvette, I think rock and roll. The music you used in this video would be best suited for a video of a ’49 Ford pickup decomposing in an Arkansas barn. This just goes to show that no matter how great a car we build here in the good ol’ U.S. of A., the Brits will find some way, blatantly or subconsciously, to put us down, even if they are praising us with an accolade.
And by the way, the 2015 Corvette Z06 is not a muscle car. It’s a supercar. Get it right.
