C7 Corvette Stingray Production Line

Since June 1981 Corvettes have been assembled in Bowling Green, Kentucky. C7 Corvette production is now fully underway at the Bowling Green assembly plant, where cameras have now had the chance to capture the magic of America’s sports car coming to life.

The video begins with footage of the new all-aluminum frame being welded together to prepare it for its trip down the production line. $131 million was invested in the Bowling Green plant to prepare it for C7 production. $52 million of that investment was used specifically to build the Corvette Stingray’s aluminum frame in-house.

Have you picked yours up like Corvette Forum member “Dr4688” has? Have you even placed your order yet, or are you waiting for the Z07? Let us know in the comments.
