Corvette Owner Dream Cars

Expectedly, owners of the oldest Corvettes dream of owning classics.

“I never should have sold it.” It’s one of the most common refrains when it comes to classic cars. In our world of Corvettes, C1 and C2 generations reign supreme, and owners of those cars recently started a list of cars they wish they could own. While the list is diverse in some ways, you can pretty easily guess that most of the dream cars are over 40 years old.

Interestingly, a good majority of cars were owners’ first cars or cars they had back in their younger years. Unsurprisingly, most come from across the pond. These fall into the category of “nice to have” rather than dream car. However, some owners aren’t too keen on driving smaller sports cars anymore. A few MGs are on the list and even a Jaguar E-type made an appearance.

Land yachts are prolific in this thread, with a good smattering of big American iron. Square feet of chrome embody the desires of quite a few forum members with a strong holding from big coupes like the Plymouth Fury, Chevelle SS, Chrysler’s 300 F and Imperial, and the ever-curvaceous Buick Riviera.

There’s a few that break from this sensibility, however. Rat-rod Fords including T-buckets and Hi-boys are on there, showing that age doesn’t have much bearing on how much fun you can have in a car.
