Some clubs are exclusive, and some clubs are a bit more fun. There are clubs for vanity and clubs for networking. But for Corvette owners, becoming a part of our small niche is something special.
In a recent post on our forums, one member who’d been observing and lurking for a while finally pulled the trigger and bought a C7 Z06. It’s a used Corvette, sure, but that doesn’t add any dross to the membership requirements. And new Corvette Forum member Kenneth Dantley Jr is reaping the rewards of such a good life decision.

One good thing about joining the club of fellow Corvette owners is that it is often preceded by a significant childhood memory. For Kenneth, it was a family affair. His father had owned Corvettes when he was younger. And you could say the possession of Kenneth’s yellow Z06 became an unavoidable fate.
Stories describing the circumstances of a first Corvette purchase are quite varied. Sometimes it’s a Corvette placed right on the front lines at a dealership. Sometimes it’s a Corvette with a “for sale” sign that you pass for months on end. It doesn’t matter if you planned it out or had an impulse, as long as you’re part of the club.
