Show the World Your Best C6 Corvette Photography
Finally, the C6-generation Corvette gets some of the love it deserves with a massive photo thread.
“I was expecting a page or two at best,” says the thread’s original poster, Corvette Forum Senior Member Brooklync5. The thread, titled “Post your favorite pic of your Vette” began all the way back in 2011, and now spans over 6,000 posts. It’s fair to say that this thread has exceeded expectations. We all love our Corvettes, and it’s no surprise that forum members are happy to show off not only their pride and joy Corvettes, but their photography skills. If you haven’t already, go post a picture of your C6 that you’re particularly proud of, we want to see them.
Because the thread itself spans so much time, it’s interesting to see how the thread has changed from the beginning to the end. There are changes in accepted style of modification, changes in the culture of the Corvette owner, and most importantly, perhaps, quality cameras have become increasingly available to the average Joe. As the thread goes on, it’s easy to see that phone cameras have evolved in 7 years, and consumer access to drones and photographer-grade SLR cameras has become much easier. Dig into the anthropology of C6 history and start from page one, it’s hours of endless entertainment.
