Would You Ever Use Your Corvette for Towing?

Believe it or not, some people use their Corvette to tow stuff. It’s a heated topic, with some people admiring a Corvette being put to work. But in other cases, it can get in the way of friendships.

Actually, using the Corvette to tow some small stuff is more popular than one might think. Motorcycles and small sea craft tow behind a ‘Vette just fine. Granted the motorcycle being towed above is about the most extreme that you’d want to go. A hitch also serves as a great way to tow extra tires and spare equipment when going to an autocross or track day event. So why all the commotion?

I’m going to offer an opinion here: considering how many different ways there are to use and enjoy a Corvette, adding a tow hitch is really not a big deal. We all have a different vision of what we want out of our dream build. Some of us like an unmolested Corvette, but others will strip it and make a 1/4 mile monster. So long as someone is not expecting to tow another car or something similarly heavy, I see no problem with a tow hitch. What about you?
